Questions I dislike

Here are some of the things that your's truly doesn't like being asked.

1. Is that a birthmark on your cheek ?

Isn't it obvious? What do u think it is, some battle scar ? Or maybe it there cause someone saw fit to stub his cigarette butt on my face causing it to scar. Or my personal favourite, a love bite since your's truly is idolized by gazillions of people.

2. When are you leaving ?

Ahh, it's ok the first or maybe second time you ask. After that, it gets irritating cause it just shows you don't really care. Anyway, your's truly would preferably like to leave alone in peace. Thus fulfilling the notion of your's truly as the 'wanderer.' By the way, its 5th Sept.

3. You look like someone I know.

Pfft. Whoever that is that resembles your's truly is lucky. No need to tell me that he resembles me. Why ? Because I couldn't give 2 hoots about who looks like me. Your's truly is too unique to be bothered with such fleeting comments.

4. Are you sure your surname is spelt Poa ?

Fuck you. Do you not think that 16 years of education has at least taught me to spell my own name ? The countless number of times one practices writing one's own name on the top of the one's assignment and stuff is testament to one at least being able to spell one's name in today's educational environment.

Your's truly will add on to it. Keep a lookout.

How many can you save ?

Remember the story about the boy throwing the star fishes back into the sea ? Well, and the tale goes on about saying how a difference it made for the starfishes that got saved.

So just how many 'starfishes' can Mr Poa save ? Well, it'd be naive to think that in one term, that even an entity as outstanding as his royal majesty can even manage to throw them ruddy rascals back into the ocean. But, this will not be the lack of trying. Putting them 10 hour days, giving extra remedial and even putting my contact number on the line for all who need it. Just what is your's truly really trying to prove ?

Would it to make up for past misdeeds ? To blaze a trail of redemption ? If so, the nobility of throwing them starfishes back into the sea is tarnished. That feeling of loss is terrible when one sees so many others throwing away their lives. Dear students, you only have one life each....don't screw it up. But how many truly hear ?

Mr Poa

Your's truly is officially one week into his new profession as a TEACHER ! haha, bloody hilarous. Quite the stressful experience I must say...but enriching nonetheless. Your's truly is out there making a DIFFERENCE !

Ironic that your's truly has been tasked to teach english, least of which, when his majesty last checked, hmmm, he didnt know or care 2 hoots about what a noun is or what the difference is between an adverb and verb. But never fear, with his royal majesty's immense penchant for the language and his tremendous apptitude for all things pertaining to the Queen's Language, it will probably be a walk in the park.

Interesting Fact
On friday, a pair of students stopped yours truly and asked if anyone commented that your's truly looked like some 'Pan Weibo,' honestly, your's truly has no idea who the hell that is, but if he is fugly, you can be certain that these 2 miscreants will be hunted down and put to detention or as the school calls it, 'PC'. Ahhh, how power corrupts. =)
